Losing you shouldn't also mean months of financial guesswork.

A private, guided record you leave for the people you love. It tells them what you have, where it is, who to call, and what to do first.

Most people finish in under 45 minutes. Save and come back whenever.

In one line

My Dear.. turns "I think he had a pension from his old job" into "Aviva, policy 12345, call this number, send these three documents."

A kitchen table, a drawer of paper, two hands

What goes wrong now

Money gets missed

Old workplace pensions, death-in-service cover, small insurance policies and dormant accounts go unclaimed because no one knows they exist.

Money arrives late

Each provider needs its own paperwork. Without policy numbers and contacts, claims can take months.

Wishes are unknown

Pension nomination forms and letters of wishes often go unfound or out of date.

Bills keep running

Direct debits, subscriptions and joint debts carry on while the partner works out what's what.

Unopened post, a folder of policies

Nine in ten of these are findable. Someone just has to know where to look.

Three parts

A written list, a filing drawer

i

The Record

A structured list of everything you own or owe. Each item has its type, provider, reference numbers, contacts, a rough value band and who it's meant for.

A handwritten note, a phone call

ii

The Instructions

Every item comes with ready-made steps for its type. Add your own notes — "ask for Sarah in HR, she knows the history" — and a letter to your partner sits on top of everything.

A key, a sealed envelope

iii

The Handover

The rules for when and how your Record reaches each person. You choose what each of them can see, and when.

What your partner sees

Calm, warm and simple: one clear next step at a time, not a dashboard of forty tasks.

What we never hold

Not your will

We record where it's kept and who holds it. We don't write it or keep a copy.

Not your passwords

We note where credentials live — "in the 1Password family vault" — never the passwords themselves.

Not your recovery phrases

No crypto seed phrases or private keys, ever. Only where yours is kept.

Not full account numbers

The provider and the account type is enough for your partner to make the call.

Everything is encrypted, in storage and in transit. Two-step sign-in is required, passkeys preferred. Hosted in the UK or EU, with a full access log you can read.

General information, not financial or legal advice.

Write it down once, while it's easy.

Start with the quick ones — your bank, where the will is kept. The pensions can wait for a rainy afternoon.

Who it's for

The Planner

You, writing it down while it's easy.

The Partner

The person it's left to, who may never have handled the money.

The Trusted Contact

An executor, adult child, friend or solicitor who can help or stand in.
